Vadeesha T. N. John-Brookes is the Founder and Principal Attorney of John Brookes Law, bringing over a decade of legal experience under the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
She is widely recognised for her work in civil and commercial litigation, corporate advisory, project financing, banking securities, and investment migration, with a proven record representing financial institutions, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals.
Vadeesha has appeared in matters at all levels of court up to the Court of Appeal and is known for her precision, strategic advocacy, and strong command of complex legal issues. Her litigation practice spans commercial disputes, enforcement of judgments, insolvency matters, shareholder conflicts, and cross-border asset recovery.
Beyond litigation, she advises on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, real estate transactions, probate, employment law, immigration, and high-value financing projects. She currently serves as principal counsel to a major financial institution within the Federation, overseeing securities documentation including mortgages and bills of sale, and has acted on multi-jurisdictional enforcement proceedings and foreign receivership matters
Her professional background includes service as Legal Officer at the Financial Intelligence Unit of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where she worked on compliance and civil asset recovery under an international programme introducing forfeiture laws to the jurisdiction. She later served on the Board of Directors of the National Housing Corporation in St. Kitts and Nevis, also holding the role of Board Secretary, contributing to governance and policy development
Vadeesha’s international outlook is reinforced by her recent completion of executive training in International Commercial Arbitration at King’s College London in collaboration with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), supporting the firm’s growing cross-border practice.
